The procurement work package consolidates relevant information from the engineering work package (EWP), construction work package (CWP), and construction work area. When integrated, the Oracle AWP solution supports seamless data flow to minimize errors, rework, and administrative overhead.

The Oracle AWP configuration provides visibility into the package scope and schedule. AWP practitioners can see the relationships between scopes of work packages that contribute to a construction work package from a single view without having to move between screens or systems. Additionally, work packages follow a predefined, guided workflow process to ensure that constraints are identified and resolved prior to the workflow proceeding.

Relationships between installation work packages (IWPs) and construction work packages (CWPs) are managed, along with constraints associated with the IWP, through a system-generated audit log coupled with a workflow engine. All information needed to complete the scope of the IWP is organized within a single view. For the workface planner, the IWP is designed to be integrated with the 3D model so that IWP planning can be performed directly from the 3D user interface. The IWP also includes integrated data from the Primavera P6 schedule so that progress and status of the IWP can be reflected in the project schedule.
